At the Land Investment Association, our goal is to educate our members by empowering them to make smart investment decisions. We do this by giving them the knowledge and confidence to invest, guiding them to invest within their means, and for their future. For beginners, we provide access to articles written by our founders, as well as several other real estate experts worldwide. We are continually adding articles, how-to's, tips and tricks for investing, and although the content of these articles are a good basis for educating our members on real estate investment, we do not endorse or support the writers, their products or services. Once you have familiarized yourself with the basic terminology, we encourage you to create and follow a financial investment plan. Because real estate is more illiquid than stocks and money market accounts, this dollar amount has to be dedicated to the investment strategy, and not considered "short term available funds." This will require a disciplined and conservative allocation. If you need help creating an investment budget, or feel you have established a conservative budget and are ready to talk with a representative about investing, contact us, and we will be happy to discuss your objectives.
The next step in the education process begins with the Due Diligence process. Our founders have been in the real estate business for years and have worked with hundreds of developers and have analyzed thousands of projects. We provide all of our Due Diligence to our members and allow them to read through it and ask us questions. By doing this, we train our members to think like banks, developers and full-time real estate investors.
