The Land Investment Association was formed to
fill an unmet demand in real estate investing.
As land investors ourselves, we have
missed out on countless opportunities because we did not
have the time to do the proper due diligence. We found
out how hard it was to find good information, and how
time consuming it was to put it all together. At that
time we were only part-time investors - we had full-time
day jobs and simply invested on the side when we could
afford to, or had the time to do the research. We wanted
an easier way to invest. We looked at the stock market,
and saw how everything is in one place. You can get
detailed information on any publicly traded company in
minutes. It has become a turnkey system, and that is
what makes part-time investing much easier.
Unfortunately, real estate
investment is just not that simple. That’s where we come
in.
We spend our days meeting with
developers around the world. We analyze every aspect of
their company, their projects, and their products. We
publish our due diligence free of charge to members. Our
goal is to empower our members with the same information
developers, banks, private equity firms and full-time
investors use to make their investment decisions.
By providing objective analysis of
developer’s projects, our members can gain a level of
comfort in the land investment process without having to
spend weeks or months doing the homework.
Still, we were surprised to see
how few investors understand the benefits of investing
in land.
 Our
next objective became to educate investors about these
benefits, and bring land investment out from the shadows
of the condo market and into the spotlight. We began
documenting our investment strategies, publishing how-to
articles, with the ultimate goal of creating a “how-to”
market place where investors could discuss ideas,
markets, and projects.
Our vision started with educating
investors on the benefits of land investment, and has
since turned into a social community of investors.
With this, we realized a special
opportunity, giving our members the chance to save money
through wholesale purchases (and make more). The Land
Investment Association has now grown into a private
wholesale land investment group, a place where investors
can join forces to buy land at deep discounts.
Although we take pride in saving our
members time and money, the foundation of our
association is still to educate investors. We assist in
developing personal investment strategies, publish
articles on various investment techniques, and through
our affiliated partner program, we provide hundreds of
lender and broker contacts - making the purchase and/or
sale of land and real estate much easier for the
investor.
